Elm Class
Welcome to Elm class! Elm class is a hub for children with SEN who are finding it difficult within the mainstream classroom. Our Elm Class lead is Miss Riggs and working alongside Miss Riggs are Mr Saunders and Mrs Bigwood, Our aim is to make our class inclusive to all, we use a range of different communication techniques including Makaton, Visuals and PECS, so all children get a voice. In Elm class we have lots of fun with sensory activities and learn through physical and hands on activities which are tailored to the individual student, all children working in Elm have a bespoke curriculum and timetable planned by the SENCO, Miss Bishop.
